In our due diligence process we always raise the question whether the external manager is a PRI member or member in a comparable association. We also ask for ESG policies and require the manager to provide the policy. If he does not have an ESG policy we require him to explain how he includes ESG factors in his investment process. 


A lot of the managers our Luxembourg Fund collaborates with are PRI members or members of comparable associations. Nearly all of the managers have ESG policies and they offer to explain their own approach to the topic. If one of the managers does not take into account ESG factors it is very probable that the investment committee recommends not to cooperate with this particular manager.
