Formuepleje's goal is to generate an attractive long-term risk-adjusted return for our investors, and we believe that the consideration of environmental, social and governance-related (ESG) issues play an important role in achieving this goal. Formuepleje believes that investing in companies, who both understand and handle ESG-related issues, will result in a higher risk-adjusted return. Furthermore, a long term responsible return of investment is supported by a dialog-based discussion with companies in which Formuepleje invests. Hence, Formuepleje integrates ESG-issues as a part of the investment process and believes collaborative engagement is the most efficient way to participate to a healthy financial system. The majority of the funds Formuepleje manages are either UCITS or AIFs for retail clients. Hence, Formuepleje generates a wide range of public information, which among other things includes a description of the investment strategy for the respective fund.

03.2. Describe your policy on managing potential conflicts of interest in the investment process.

Formuepleje’s Conflict of Interest Policy applies to conflicts that may arise across all departments in any investment process within Formuepleje.
The policy is not specifically linked to ESG/RI but represents all aspects of the organisation.
Formuepleje also has clear guidelines when it comes to employees’ private investments. All trades must be approved by the compliance department and any employee closely related to the investment process must report his/her transactions with a 30-day holding period requirement. Formuepleje thereby eliminates any conflict of interest occurring between the overall investment strategy and the individual employee.
