LEA 12. Typical approach to (proxy) voting decisions

 Before votes are cast, voting decisions are discussed between the Investment Analysts and Portfolio Managers.  If required, further assessment is undertaken by the Investment Team to better inform the voting decision. 

The final approval for voting decisions sits with the Portfolio Managers where they will ensure that the voting is done in accordance with our voting policy.   

Since 2019 voting is submitted via proxy edge by our Administrator or physical attendance at meetings where warranted.  Auscap will start receiving a quarterly proxy voting report from our Administrator this year.

A new proxy voting system has been implemented to apply from January 2019 and it is intended that Auscap will provide proxy voting for a greater number of portfolio company resolutions through this system in 2019.
