1 person attends the requests of the members of the trade union, who are members of the pension fund or would like to become members of the pension fund (primarily administrative and information issues). The Secretary of the Supervisory Board of the Pension Fund and me (also member of the supervisory board of the pension fund) work on the daily issues related with the pension scheme and pension fund. I am in charge of all relevant SRI issues (mainly the engagement campaigns organised by PRI and CWC -Committee on Workers´ Capital). None of us are full-time dedicated to the pension fund. The investment process has been delegated to our asset manager Gestion de Previsión y Pensiones, EGFP, S.A., which is also a PRI signatory. The supervisory board of our pension fund is formed by 10 members.

Segregated mandate in our case means direct invesntment done by our asset manager in shares of companies and government and cuasi-government bonds. Pooled funds means indirect investment done by our asset manager in funds managed by other asset managers or ETFs. The supervisory board of the pension fund defines the investment policy and delegates the decision-making process to the asset manager. Only investment in alternative assets must be approved beforehand by the supervisory board.
