AP3 keep dialogues with companies in the portfolio on climate and climate related issues, asking what the companies  do to reduce their impact on the climate, if the company has set any specific targets for their carbon footprint, energy use etc and what future plans the company might have their objectives.  The dialogues  create a mutual understanding of the climate question/challenge and the issues raised both for investor and investee companies.

In doing this AP3 makes clear to the companies that climate is an important question and that it does matter to the fund and its investment decisions, what the companies do with respect to the climate.

AP3 participates in different constellations with participants from companies, NGOs, Academia etc to promote sustaniable and responsible investing. e.g. SISD (SIDA), The Swedish Agency for Growth Policy Analysis
