TPT appoints managers that are committed to being good stewards of the assets in the portfolios, and that undertake voting and strategic engagement with the companies held in their portfolios. We believe that given their knowledge of the company, the sector and access to company management that they are best positioned to engage with companies in an effective and strategic way. 

Where appropriate TPT will participate in collaborative effort, however we would always discuss a mananager's stance before engaging.

TPT’s corporate engagement priorities are based on an understanding of where material ESG risk lies in the portfolio. Where possible we will also seek to understand our beneficiaries' needs and engage with companies where a systematic risk is identified.

The collaborative engagements we are involved in are well organised with objectives and milestones set at the outset of the engagements along with ways to measure success. In the majority of cases the organisation coordinating the collaborative engagement provides updates on progress.
