07.2. For the roles for which you have RI oversight/accountability or implementation responsibilities, indicate how you execute these responsibilities.

The Chief Investment Officer communicates his direct commitment and leadership on ESG integration. The internal leadership committee considers ESG as one of many factors in internal decision making. With the assistance of a dedicated ESG analyst, investment staff consider ESG as part of their investment process. The Board of Regents has the sole authority to consider responsible investing policies that are not related to financial investment screening due diligence decisions. The OCIO considers ESG up, down and across its entire organization. In investment, risk, operations and compliance as well as from a senior leadership and board perspective.
