This work is made by our asset manager, Santander Pensiones, SA, EGFP in behalf of the Control Comittee. Once we identify an ESG issue that we wish to discuss with a company, we engage with them by establishing a formal discussion through letters & emails. This is done with the objective of helping them in the correction of the troubling activity or to allow them to disclose more information on ESG issues and indicators. Santander Empleados Pensiones Pensio fund has joined a collaborative engagement initiative during the reporting year to encourage governments' commitment to climate change objectives.

We collect all the letters/emails that are sent to and from the company and any other information that the company shares with us. 

In terms of collaborative engagements, we collect the PRI final report and inform our beneficiaries on the outcomes of this report.
