Cooperation with our property manager is essential if we are to achieve our sustainability goals. The property manager is our service partner and is hired to manage the buildings in our behalf. This involves the administration, as well as technical and financial management.
The traditional client-contractor relationship will increasingly make way for a form of partnership and shared responsibility. This new type of cooperation can be formalised in performance contracts, which set out agreed targets for climate, energy savings, comfort, the indoor environment, maintenance and building operation. Until we switch to this new type of cooperation and contracts, we let the parties sign a sustainability declaration in which we record the ESG agreements.
