Prior Nilsson is an independent and personal asset management company which has been on the market since 2002. We have had a continuous growth but have been very careful to keep the benefits of a smaller company. We believe in true active management - we believe that we can make a difference and add value by being active in the market, follow our own path and not follow an index. Our asset managers Torgny Prior and P-O Nilsson, who are also the founders and owners of the company, have an average experience of 32 years in the financial industry. They have most of their savings invested in our own funds.
Genuine active fund management is to base management on solid fundamental analysis and to ignore index. It has proven to be a successful strategy, and currently PriorNilsson manages five funds - two hedge funds, a Swedish fund and a real assets fund and a global fund. We also have several long term discretionary assignments where we comply with each individual customer's preferences on policy and ris . We are skilled at giving a good personal service and we have many satisfied long-term customers.
Prior Nilsson became PRI signatories in 2018, but including ESG factors in our fundamental analysis has been integral since the beginning.
