SG 07. RI roles and responsibilities

07.1. Indicate the internal and/or external roles used by your organisation, and indicate for each whether they have oversight and/or implementation responsibilities for responsible investment.

07.2. For the roles for which you have RI oversight/accountability or implementation responsibilities, indicate how you execute these responsibilities.

CEO / portfolio managers: Overall, CEO / investment committe / portfolio managers will need to consider ESG items throughout the investment process; meaning from sourcing to exit. During the DD phase, as an example, the deal team will need to ensure that anti-corruption DD and jurisdictions in the DD phase. After acquisition, deal teams - with the support from ESG office - ensures that governance documents are updated to meet FSN's standards. During the ownership phase, deal teams are responsible to follow-up on the ESG process in FSN Funds' portfolio companies. Further, they are also responsible for involving the ESG team in case of ESG challenges or incidents in the portfolio companies. 


Dedicated ESG team is responsible to monitor progress in portfolio companies, provide tools and support when needed as well as to develop the FSN ESG framewotk to meet emerging requirements and trends.
