Hedge funds

The KLP guidelines for responsible investment apply to all asset classes, including hedge funds. KLP invests solely in our own internally managed hedge funds. These hedge fund may for instance not invest or take short positions in securities in companies that KLP has excluded.

This represents KLP Banken's lending activities, of which the majority is lending to Norwegian local governments and their organisatiosn. We aim to be the leading financial partner for the public sector.

Projects we lend to are approved by local authorities.

KLP is in the process of developing a framework for addressing ESG issues for this asset class.
