22.3. Describe the actions you take in relation to voting against management recommendations.

          Every year, to further improve communication with its foreign portfolio companies, AP2 has written to some 50 of these companies, clarifying its views on active governance and the importance of exercising voting rights. In these letters, AP2 also explains the reasons it has felt unable to support the recommendations of the boards on specific proposals. In several cases, these letters have resulted in further contact with the companies in question, sometimes by letter but also in the form of teleconferences.
