Progress achieved

The extra-financial externalities have been considered as part of the medium-term investment plan 2017-2022 for the Local investments division. The minimum extra-financial criteria have also been included in the test version of the investment scoring tool. The ESG integration in the investment-decision making process to be rolled out in 2018, on the basis of the investment scoring tool where the ESG criteria are being tailored to the specifics of different investment domains.

          Development of a global 2° roadmap for all investment activities

          Part of our portfolios (corporate bonds, listed equity) are rated by external providers and its
evolution is assessed both in time and vs benchmark portfolios

Improved ESG score for the portfolios

          % reduction in carbon footprint for internally managed equities, corporate bonds, and property
        

Progress achieved

To reduce by 20 % in 2020 compared to 2014. 
2017 on the right track to reach this goal for all three portfolios (currently above target for bonds and equities)

Dedicated investment portfolios of renewable energy generation, storage, distribution and transport
(green energy infrastructure).

Implementation of energy performance and multi-criteria environmental labelling and certification requirements to real estate property investments.
