SG 07. RI roles and responsibilities

07.1. Indicate the roles present in your organisation and for each, indicate whether they have oversight and/or implementation responsibilities for responsible investment.

07.2. For the roles for which you have RI oversight/accountability or implementation responsibilities, indicate how you execute these responsibilities.

RI considerations need to form an important part of the decision making process in portfolio construction and the selection of managers. Ultimately all accountability rests with the Chief Invetsment Officer to ensure that RI considerations are implemented in a consistent way across all portfolios and that RI is incorporated into the decison making framework. 

Education and information that is provided to clients is the reponsibility of the client servicing team and they need to engage with the investment team to understand how RI happens for each client and to ensure that the mandate of the client in this regard is adhered to.

We have a dedictaed ESG person within the team who is responsible for making sure the implementation and record keeping is done in line with our policiy.
