The strategy of Conservation Resource Partners, LLC (CRP) (formerly Conservation Forestry Partners) seeks to align private equity with conservation capital for the purpose of acquiring and managing a diverse portfolio of real assets. We are focused on offering portfolios of timberland investments and productive farm and pasture land, with significant conservation and natural resource values. Through our Conservation Forestry and Conservation Farming divisions, we do so in a manner that seeks to provide a competitive risk-adjusted rate of return for our investors, while optimizing the conservation values of the forests and farms we manage.

The firm and its various funds focus on making investments in North America, with an emphasis on the United States.

Currently CRP invests exclusively in North America with a focus on the United States (U.S.). The U.S. is a preferred investment region for timberland and farmland because of its strong market fundamentals, efficient infrastructure, and availability of skilled forest and farm managers. In addition, its long history of private property rights and legal precedents with regard to conservation easement laws makes the United States well suited to our strategy of partnering with conservation organizations.
