UFG Asset Management today is one of the leading Russian region focused alternative asset managers with $2.3 billion of assets in public markets hedge funds, real estate/agriculture, traditional private equity funds, and separately managed accounts. Hedge funds use option strategies first of all to hedge portfolio to provide downside protection during concerning periods. Also UFG AM can use options to impose structures on equity (stocks), but does it rarely.

UFG Asset Management is one of the largest indepedent investment groups dedicated to investing international and domestic institutional and private capital accross the capital range into Russia and other CIS countries. UFG Private Equity has 3 private equity funds with $712m plus another $156m raised in co-investment funds, UFG Real Estate has 4 institutional real estate funds with $530m, UFG AM Family of Hedge Funds with equity and fixed income strageties exceed $300m. UFG also has independently managed Wealth Management business with addtional $0.7 million in assets. These are traditional family office services. Together UFG group has $2.3 billion in assets and commmittments.
