Over our 30 years of private debt investing, we have made loans in over 25 industries and have built an established origination platform with extensive referral networks and deep market knowledge.
In November 2015 we closed our fifth mid-term fund, raising $667 million + in September 2016 we closed our first Infrastructure Private Debt Fund at $347 million.
We are currently raising capital for a non-investment grade fund that will utilize our existing credit platform to extend our senior secured, direct lending expertise to smaller borrowers that fall outside the investment grade credit parameters of our existing funds. The fund will focus on providing senior secured debt to small and mid-sized borrowers which have a credit quality equivalent to B/BB. Our objective will be to acquire and manage a diversified portfolio of loans to we established borrowers with EBITDA in the $2 – 10 million range (CDA$) to provide superior risk-adjusted returns to our investors with loans carrying yields between 8.0 and 12.0%.
In the spring of 2018, we will be launching our sixth corporate mid-term, investment grade fund following the successful investment of our fifth fund raised in late 2015.
