Ausbil is represented on the PRI Australia Advisory Network Committee. Ausbil also contributed to PRI publications in 2017 including one as a contributor and one as an external reviewer.

  • Ausbil provided training at an ACSI trustees on labour rights from an investor perspctive.

Description

          In 2017, Ausbil presented at various events for financial planners in Australia on the value of ESG integration and responsible investments. Ausbil also provided training to superannuation trustees on labour rights from an investor perspective at an ACSI (Australian Council of Superannuation Investors Limited) event. Ausbil also participated in two PRI publications (one as a contributor and one as an external reviewer) focused on labour rights from an investor perspective (‘ESG risk management in the supply chain’ and ‘Moving the needle on responsible labour practice’) including a podcast on the latter topic. Ausbil also presented at the Australian Supply Chain School on investor expectations on human rights management in supply chains, with focus on the infrastructure sector and presented at the UN Global Compact Dialogue on investor perspectives on human rights.

Description

          In 2017, Ausbil contributed to a paper called ‘Human Rights in Investment – stepping out of the shadows (2017)’ by EY and the Australian Human Rights Commission and took part on a panel discussion on the launch date. Ausbil also contributed to a university paper on labour rights from an investor perspective.

Description

          In 2017, Ausbil presented on ESG integration at the Investment Data & Technology Summit in Australia by the Fund Operations Network. Ausbil also provided stakeholder input to the Australian Investor Relations Association’s (AIRA) paper on ESG integration and presented on ESG integration at an AIRA event (‘ESG Integration Conference’) to Investor Relations officers at Australian listed companies.

          In addition to the events mentioned above, Ausbil also presented on ESG integration at the CGI Glass Lewis annual Corporate Governance Conference and Ausbil presented on ESG integration and responsible investment at Ausbil's annual roadshow (for financial planners) in Perth, Melbourne, Adelaide, Sydney, Newcastle and Brisbane.

Description

          In 2017, Ausbil wrote a number of ESG-related research papers, including ‘ESG insights from the FY17 reporting season’, ‘What does the Finkel Review mean for investors?’, ‘ESG integration at Ausbil: why, how and what are the benefits’ and ‘ US environmental future under President Trump’.
