Established in 2007 (as Australian Farms Fund Management), AgCAP holds an Australian Financial Services Licence and provides financial services to professional and institutional investors, as well as managing farms and agribusinesses on their behalf. AgCAP has specialised expertise in funds management and investment, and diversified expertise in managing cropping, dairy and livestock operations.
From 2009 to 2017 AgCAP managed the Sustainable Agriculture Fund (SAF) on behalf of Australian institutional investors. The Fund owned and operated grain, cotton, beef and dairy farms across five aggregations at North Star and Darlington Point in New South Wales, Victoria’s Western District, and King Island and the Cradle Coast in Tasmania. The Fund was fully divested in December 2017.
AgCAP has extensive experience in sourcing and managing agricultural enterprises on behalf of institutional investors in Australia and overseas.
AgCAP provides funds management services for institutional and large private investors who wish to invest in agricultural assets and operations. We hold an Australian Financial Services Licence, allowing us to provide financial services to wholesale clients.
Our Funds and Asset Management services include:
- Funds Management including creating investment funds, raising funds, investing funds and managing funds.
- Asset Management including the purchase of assets, market research, due diligence, negotiation and completion of purchase.
- Ongoing management of assets including - farming operations, commodity sales and marketing, financial management, risk management, and corporate governance.
For the purposes of the PRI Reporting Assessment, all data and information will be reported as at 30 June 2017, prior to the full divestment of the SAF assets.
