Qualium Investissement is one of the leading players in the French private equity market with c. €2.5 bn capital raised since 1998 from its main sponsor, the Caisse des Dépôts Group (a public French institutional investor serving the general interest and economic development), and over 40 French and foreign third-party subscribers: pension funds, insurance companies, banks, private individuals, etc.

Qualium Investissement invests in equity through LBO transactions, as a majority shareholder, and offers customized, innovative and sustainable solutions to ensure each company’s long-term development

For 20 years, the funds managed by Qualium Investissement have invested in more than 60 companies active in all major French business sectors (industry, agri-food, specialized distribution, engineering, etc.).

Qualium Investissement manages a portfolio of 8 active investments, representing combined sales of more than €1.6bn and totaling ca 9,000 employees.

Historically, Qualium Investissement was a 100% subsidiary of the Caisse des Dépôts, one of the first PRI signatory. In accordance with the group policy, each PRI signatory subsidiary used to reports on PRI on its own side.

Since November 2017, and the launch of its last fund "Qualium Fund II", the management team became the main shareholder of Qualium Investissement while Caisse des Dépôts remained a minority shareholder with 30% of the capital and the sponsor of the team.

Qualium Investissement will pursue the same investment strategy philosophy and will continue to report as a signatory of the PRI.
