01.4. Describe your organisation’s investment principles and overall investment strategy, and how they consider ESG factors and real economy impact.

We separate impact investment and sustainability themed investment as two different categories as they offer different point of views. HCP is currently using negative screening in two out of three of its portfolios.

HCP Focus uses negative screening and completely avoids certain industries. Based on the definitions above, HCP Focus can be seen as 100% responsibly invested. Investments are not made in products or services that have a clear and substantial addictive and/or destructive potential,
products the manufacturing of which require vast and unnecessary human or animal suffering,
and products with no other discernible purpose but killing human beings (e.g. arms).

HCP Black uses partially negative and partially positive screening. For example, investments are
made in natural disaster insurances, which are defined as positive impact investments.

HCP Quant does not currently use any of the SRI strategies mentioned above since there is not
enough data available for the companies HCP Quant invests in. Even smaller companies would
need to start reporting on their sustainability in order for HCP Quant to successfully screen the
investments.

01.5. Provide a brief description of the key elements, any variations or exceptions to your investment policy that covers your responsible investment approach. [Optional]
