Asset management is our sole business, and we do invest on a proprietary basis.
Genesis supports its investment activity through an active compliance culture that is aided by a corporate structure that minimises conflicts of interest and the creation and maintenance of a robust control environment throughout the Firm. Genesis maintains a Code of Ethics and Conflicts of Interest document which provides a written record of actual and potential conflicts of interest involving a material risk of damage to Clients and the controls which are in place to mitigate these risks. Both documents are subject to ongoing updating as required and are reviewed as part of the compliance monitoring programme and also as part of the annual compliance and risk review.
