RI induction with all new joiners
All new joiners received an introduction to Actis responsible investment approach and one-on-one meetings with the RI team were held with the majority of new joiners to discuss the specific ESG incorporation associated with their role
RI workshops with the investment teams, frequent meetings with fund heads and ESG 'champions' within each asset class
The RI team held workshops with the investment teams across the asset classes to discuss ESG engagement. In addition, frequent meetings were held with fund heads to review ESG engagement and specific ESG actions were developed alongside ESG champions in each asset class
Firm-wide ESG presentation at an annual meeting by the RI team plus RI integrated into executive committee presentations to the firm.
The RI team delivered a presentation of ESG activities to the entire firm at an annual meeting and the executive committee frequently presented on ESG activities during firm-wide meetings
ESG messages covered during Townhalls and all-firm communications (internal). Forthcoming RI Report (for public domain) will also be an important communication tool.
E, S and G ratings established for all portfolio companies
E, S and G ratings were established via an internal portfolio management system and they are reviewed quarterly by the RI team alongside the investment teams and fund heads
