01.4. Provide a brief overview of your organization’s approach to engagement

We, as a responsible institutional investor, shall engage with companies with the view to enhance mid to long term investment return for invested companies and reduce ESG risk. Our ESG platform is called MBIS and this defines the engagement activities as well as investment analysis for investment processes, which covers 1)  (ESG) opportunities and 2) (ESG)  risks.  

Concerning 1) opportunities in engagement activities, we ask companies to improve their corporate efficiencies as well as areas of sustainable growth, based on their governance quality. We shall excersize stewardship to encourage  successful integration of ESG concerning their business, which would benefit companies as well as stakeholders.  

Concerning 2)  risks, we ask the companies to disclose the nessesary information to grasp risk correctly. In addition, if we decide to address for improving the issues for long term perspective, we conduct actions including engagement and proxy voting so as to correct invested companies.
