The Fund establishes its priorites for engagement, based on size of holding, financial materiality of the issue, likelihood of achieving successful outcomes, importance to members and level of effort. The Fund engages primarily through partnerships, including the Local Authority Pension Fund Forum (LAPFF), the PRI, the UK Pension Fund Roundtable and IIGCC. Where the Fund's priorities for engagement cannot be fulfilled through a partnership, the Fund will engage directly. Most engagement is with investee companies but the Fund will also engage fund managers, regulators and other influential bodies.
