10.3. Provide a brief description of your organisations selection, appointment and monitoring of third party property managers and how they contribute to the management of ESG issues for your property investments.

AEW select big players of the market for the property management of its portfolio.

Most of them have an ESG policy. We evaluate the property managers for some investors with an ESG questionnaire about their organisation.

We systematically integrate in our property management contract the obligation for them to comply with our SRI policy. They also have specific requirements in their contract about health and safety, energy enfficiency, and ESG performance.

We control that they respect their engagements with the help of their quaterly reporting. We appointed an external energy manager who controls their action on energy performance. We launch health and safety audit every year on a panel of buldings, to control that they manage correctly health and safety issues.
