The Spoorwegpensioenfonds is an asset owner whose assets are managed by SPF Beheer. The Spoorwegpensioenfonds exists of a Board, 15 members, 6.4 fte, and 4 additional people, 3.8 fte, that support the Board and take care of the relation between the Board and its asset manager SPF Beheer.

The board is advised by its investment committee, consisting of 8 people (0.8 fte in total, of which 0.4 fte overlaps with the board). Additionally, the board is supported by the Accountability Council of 15 members (1.05 fte).

SPF Beheer employs approximately 180 ftes for purposes of investment management and pension administration (about 55 of them are dedicated to investgment management). It performs these tasks for two clients. Additionally, there are some other, smaller, clients who have outsourced part of these tasks to SPF Beheer.

SPF Beheer is a pensions and employee benefits specialist based in the Netherlands. SPF Beheer is a 100% daughter of the Spoorwegpensioenfonds.SPF Beheer is a pension administrator and manages the investments in equities, bonds, direct real estate, private equity, commodities including Emerging Markets equities and bonds. It does so on behalf of the Spoorwegpensioenfonds and the Pensioenfonds Openbaar Vervoer. SPF Beheer administers pensions for 100.000 participants and provides different services for 20 companies.
