The ESG Committee headed by the ESG coordinator  interfaces with investment management team. Specialised resources have been dedicated to ESG investment choices within the committee which includes 6 members of the investment team. While there are 9 members within the committee all with different responsibilities  no one member is dedicated 100% to only ESG initiatives.

Portfolio managers and analysts are responsible for the implementation and oversight of ESG criteria in their own portfolio facilitated by the ESG committee.

The Emerging market team have designated an ESG analyst.

An initial check is carried out by the manager when entering an order in the Bloomberg AIM tool. First-level controls are performed by the risk management department using the dedicated application (CMGR) in Bloomberg AIM.

The Compliance and Internal Control team can review the global ISR approach followed by Fund Managers, in the course of the conduct of the annual compliance monitoring program.

ESG factors and their importance are now part of the portfolio manager induction process that is maintained by Compliance.

The 2 members of the middle office team implement the voting policy in combination with ISS.
