In 2016, ACTIAM won the 'International Award on Investor Climate-related Disclosures' in the category climate strategy. The award was organised by French Ministry of Environment in collaboration with 2°Investing Initiative and aims to highlight best practices in investor climate change reporting, in line with Article 173-VI, and consequently also provide food for thought for existing international initiatives on climate-related disclosures for investors.
ACTIAM places high value on collaboration with other investors, ngo's and other experts. In december 2015, ACTIAM and 11 other investors formed the Platform Carbon Accounting Financials, a working group focused on establishing a common method for carbon footprinting. Early this year (2017), ACTIAM launched a similar initiative with a Dutch bank, focused on biodiversity footprinting.
ACTIAM is also working on a research into ESG and materiality, and integrating the results of this research into engagements and ESG scores.
