Members of BlackRock Impact, Climate Solutions, and Investment Stewardship teams have goals to advance the firm’s capabilities in terms of ESG integration, active ownership including engagement and voting, as well as the development of sustainable investment strategies and solutions to expand our offerings within responsible investment categories. Individual objectives are set within a context of team and firm objectives, ensuring that responsible investment activities are aligned with the firm’s strategy. The members of these teams, who are primarily responsible for the firm’s responsible investment activities, work in partnership with professionals across the global firm from various departments, including investing, analytics, sales and client service teams, and others to accomplish the firm’s work to advance ESG integration and create sustainable investment solutions that meet the needs of our clients.
