The purpose of the Responsible Policy is serve our customers interests by creating both competitive and sustainable returns.

We encourage companies to respect international principles for corporate responsibility such as the UN Global Compact, OECD Guidelines for Mul­tinational Enterprises and UN Guiding Principles and collaboration within the investor community to the benefit of our customers and society in general.

Company dialogue and engagement is an integrated part of the way we invest. Engagement is a preferred method or communicating as opposed to immediate exclusion of companies from our investment universe.

We prefer to cooperate with other investors to increase the impact of our efforts on a company level but also in supporting a mutually beneficial value creation in society as a precondition for long-term performance.

If engagement has proven pointless exclusion of companies from the investment universe serves as the last resort. If a company is engaged in the production of illegal products - such as anti-personal mines or cluster munitions or certain aspects of production of nuclear weapons - then the company is excluded without any previous dialogue.
