Impax's investments are fully dedicated to environmental and resource efficiency areas, integrating responsibility in our investment processes.

At the Board and Chief Executive levels, the responsibility is maintaining existing and identifying new strategic resource efficiency investment areas and give thought-leadership both internally and externally around this specific area of investment.

At the Chief Executive, Investment Committee and Head of Department levels, policies, processes and responsible investment frameworks are maintained and developed. Responsible investment is implemented through Investment Committee work. All new companies that are presented to the Investment Committee must be approved on ESG criteria and are often debated during the meetings.

At the portfolio management, analyst and ESG-analyst levels, ESG-issues are researched continuously. ESG is an important aspect of our investment process. We do a "10-step analysis" for all companies with in-depth financial and ESG-analysis and implement proxy voting and continuous engagement with our investee companies.

Impax Asset Management is an investment manager dedicated to the resource efficiency and environmental markets. We seek benefit for our clients from identifying the opportunities created by resource scarcity, population growth, need for infrastructure build-out and climate change. We invest in companies providing resource and environmental solutions and in doing so we go beyond the usual “Environmental” guidelines, while also fully integrating ESG-analysis into our investment process. Our investment universe and embedded, multi-step-investment process are responsible.
