IFD 27. Transparency of pricing, terms and conditions among investees

Possible action:

Ensure that investees adequately disclose the pricing, terms and conditions of financial products and services offered, and that the pricing, terms and conditions are understood by clients.

We check whether the investees have signed the Client Protection Principles; encourage the use of declining balance interest rates; calculate the pricing of the investees' most commonly used loan product and the highest priced loan product and compare it to benchmarks and our own internal thresholds. In addition, we also check in the loan documents/brochures whether the end clients can see what the rates/amount they need to pay.
