Humanis defined an environmental strategy in 2015 based on carbon reduction in equity and financing carbon reduction project through green bond. Taking part in the green bond market creation is a sort of engagement, as there is a deep discussino with issuer on environmental targets and policies, notably the identfiication and quantification of environmental projects.
Humanis has been a signatory of Carbon Disclosure Project since 2009 (including Water and Carbon Action). In 2015, Humanis joined the Portfolio Decarbonation Coalition and signed the Energy Eficiency G20 statement.

Beside the environemental involvement Humanis started some preliminary works of engagement in 2016 on governance.

For equity we identified targets of 2% per year and we have a clear view of emission level by all companies and of their reduction potential. Carbon reduction implementation can be achieved through in depth individual analysis only.This requires a detailed monitoring.

Besides Humanis has been taking part in a FrenchSIF initiative on pay ratio among French companies.

In 2015 Humanis joined the Portfolio Decarbonation Coalition. Results will come later in 2018..

In 2013, in the  CDP engagement intiative, we tracked and even offered a "backtracking" to new respondents to CDP  and we inivite one of these companies for an open discussion to a conference with some Board members of Humanis and some journalists.
